Based in Melbourne, Carmela brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by both teaching and student support roles across multiple education environments.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Paul University Philippines and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) from MRWED Training and Assessment.

Before joining LDG, Carmela spent over five years with Keypath Education, progressing through roles including Student Success Advisor, Team Leader – Student Success, and Student Success Manager. Her experience spans student retention strategy, performance coaching, stakeholder coordination, and learning analytics to support postgraduate student outcomes.

She also previously worked in academic and compliance roles within the vocational education sector, alongside early career experience as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Philippines and an English language tutor for international learners.
